Reflux Band

Control Nighttime Reflux,

Improve Daytime Symptoms

For people with laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), nighttime is often the hardest part. When you lie down, it’s easier for stomach contents to travel upward — reaching the throat, voice box, and airway.

The Reflux Band is a simple, external device you wear around your neck while you sleep. It’s designed to help keep reflux from reaching your upper airway overnight, without pills, procedures, or anything invasive.

How It Works

The Reflux Band applies gentle, targeted pressure to the cricoid cartilage — a small structure in the front of your neck — which helps support the upper esophageal sphincter (UES), your body’s natural barrier between the esophagus and the throat. By reinforcing that barrier during sleep, it reduces the likelihood of reflux traveling upward while you rest.

It’s adjustable, portable, and designed for easy nightly use. You put it on before bed and take it off in the morning.

How It Helps

The Reflux Band is designed for people experiencing LPR symptoms, especially at night. Common symptoms it’s often used to address include:

  • Chronic cough, especially in the morning
  • Hoarseness when you wake up
  • Throat clearing
  • Globus sensation (the feeling of something stuck in your throat)
  • Postnasal drip
  • Sore throat
  • Sleep disruption you can’t explain

Who It's For

The Reflux Band provides support for people whose LPR symptoms are worse at night, who haven’t found adequate relief from medications alone, or who want a medication-free option to try at home. Patients can benefit from using Reflux Band as a standalone approach or alongside their current treatment.
